P(LACL) HA thread insertion provides constant and progressive rejuvenation in the facial tissue. Patients who have had a threadlift will notice a gradual improvement in their skin’s tone and firmness. The body’s healing response is also constantly activated while the threads are in place, this is because the body is biologically programmed to react in this manner when it detects any foreign object present within the dermis. Because the threads are so thin and small that the patient will not feel any of this happening.
Elastin is a fibrillar protein that ensures skin turgor and elasticity. There will be a gradual and noticeable change as the face begins to look fresher and more youthful.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural ingredient found in human skin and is responsible for stimulating the production of collagen and protecting the skin from free radicals. Hyaluronic acid also contributes to the amount of water found in the skin. As we age, our skin begins to lose its natural resources of hyaluronic acid, resulting in the reduction of collagen produced and the loss of skin volume and moisture.
The treatment area is cleansed, Numbing cream is applied.
Local anaesthesia is injected in all determined points. Threads are inserted using a fine needle under Aptos technique without any incisions.
Threads are held in place by the reabsorbable bidirectional cones. Pressure is applied to compress and reshape the tissues to obtain the desired lifting effect.
You may feel a light tugging on the skin during the procedure.
Treatment time is typically 30 – 60 minutes.
Mild swelling, redness and soreness and brusing may be expected at the end of the treatment.
The readjustment of soft tissues results in an instant lifting effect of the skin.
Collagen is also stimulated in the deep layers of the skin as the threads reabsorb in the subsequent months, replacing the depleted volume in saggy areas.
This brings about a smoothening effect of the skin and an improvement to the contours of the face.
Depending on the severity of the signs of ageing, individual results may vary.
The results of the thread lift can last between 1 to 2 years. Repeat treatment in 6 to 12 months is recommended for consistent results.
The price for the thread lift treatments will differ according to the number and type of threads used.
